Alicia Voorhies is a Registered Nurse by trade and has worked extensively as a toxic plastic consultant since 2007. She worked as Director of Nursing for most of her 13 year career with a specialty in developmental disabilities, the autism spectrum, seizure and behavioral disorders. She retired several years ago and now owns The Soft Landing, LLC, an online store offering over 60 brands of products confirmed with each manufacturer to be free of BPA, PVC and phthalates.
Her product research has been cited by ABC News, Newsweek, the New York Times, the Kansas City Star, Dr. Greene and health-conscious websites such as National Geographic’s The Green Guide, Enviroblog and Healthy Child Healthy World.
